With several college degrees and different intern experiences, LaTeska quickly realized that substance abuse and untreated mental health issues were taking over families. She started her journey working in in-patient treatment to help bridge the gap between mental health and addiction. Ms. Brown enjoys providing psychotherapy to help clients understand their behaviors, emotions, and thoughts. She enjoys helping clients identify stressors and teaching clients healthy coping and problem-solving techniques specifically tailored to each individual person. LaTeska’s passion for helping others is shown in her commitment and dedication to each client she encounters by providing each client with a level of dignity and respect, self- determination, and most of helping client build the support they need throughout the process. Ms. Brown enjoys the simplicity of life and simpleness that comes with that, like trail walk and nature living. LaTeska enjoys spending time playing different sports, learning new things, and loving her two fur babies, Ty and Roxi.
