Empowering patients to
take the next step forward

Inspired by the longleaf pine, able to endure and recover from fire stronger than before, our organization represents regrowth and strengthening through adversity. At Longleaf, we are elevating standards of care through our people and our practices, as we empower our patients to change and heal. Below you will find an overview of what Longleaf Recovery and Wellness is all about while our complete website experience is currently being developed and is scheduled to launch soon.

Changing the way people view healing and recovery

Longleaf was created in 2022 to bring additional outpatient addiction and mental health treatment options to Alabama. Our daily mission is to provide unmatched care and an inviting environment in which patients are surrounded by a compassionate staff who deliver a consistent, quality experience. Our accessible and comprehensive offerings give clients tailored options that create a clear path forward to recovery and wellness.

Longleaf will be expanding the Birmingham Recovery Center location on a connected site with the construction of Longleaf Wellness Center. The new facility will be a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program, focusing on primary mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. In addition, Longleaf has secured a site to expand its substance use disorder and mental health treatment model to Madison, Alabama with Longleaf Recovery Center – Madison. Plans for further expansion to other areas of the state, such as Baldwin County, are underway.
