Paul Bryant, a Birmingham native, completed his undergraduate studies in social work at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), and received his master’s degree in clinical and medical social work from UAB. Paul brings years of professional recovery-oriented experience to Longleaf Recovery and Wellness. As the Program Director, Paul oversees the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of Longleaf’s flagship programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the diverse needs of clients. Paul inspires and motivates staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment where team members thrive and excel. Paul’s passion goes beyond the walls of Longleaf, as he actively engages with stakeholders in the community to advocate for policies and resources that support individuals on their journey to recovery. Paul’s hope is that Longleaf Recovery and Wellness continues to be a beacon of hope for individuals struggling with substance use and mental health disorders, providing comprehensive support and resources to help them achieve sustainable recovery and holistic well-being.
