Molly, a Birmingham, Alabama native, holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Montevallo. She became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in 2004 and is now an LPC supervisor. Molly's professional path is defined by her unwavering dedication to supporting individuals struggling with addiction and mentoring fellow professionals in the field. With 16 years of experience in a residential treatment setting, she has gained extensive expertise in direct clinical practice, leadership, and utilization review. Before joining Longleaf Recovery and Wellness, Molly spent four years with a managed care company, where she gained critical insights into the systemic factors affecting mental health care delivery. This experience has profoundly influenced her advocacy and holistic care approach. Currently serving as the Director of Utilization Review at Longleaf Recovery and Wellness, Molly remains committed to providing comprehensive care and ensuring accessibility for those in need.
