Ashlie Combs, ALC
Therapist – BRC
A U.S. Army combat veteran, Ashlie has built her life around service, both in uniform and beyond. Today, she continues that mission as a Veteran Treatment Court Mentor and as the founder of the Veterans Outreach Team, where she supports fellow veterans in overcoming challenges, rebuilding their lives, and rediscovering purpose.
Ashlie holds a degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Auburn University, which has strengthened her dedication to advocacy, guidance, and creating meaningful impact within her community.
Her journey is also deeply personal. A proud mother of three, Gabriel, Chloe, and Amin, including a child with an autism diagnosis, Ashlie is also a traumatic brain injury (TBI) recovery survivor as a result of school bullying, and a recovered alcoholic who has been sober since 2017. These experiences have shaped her perspective, strengthened her resilience, and deepened her commitment to supporting individuals and families navigating complex challenges.
At the heart of everything she does is her family. Ashlie is a devoted wife to her husband, Raymond. Though they have been married since 2014, their story began much earlier, when they first met in high school in 1997.
Her life’s work is rooted in service, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
